Le site de décollage se trouve à une altitude de 585 mètres avec un dénivelé de 290 mètres. Il est classé comme facile à moyen. Ce site est rarement utilisé et il n'y a pas de journaux de vol disponibles. Le décollage semble se situer sur un champ cultivé. Pour accéder au site, prenez la D999 vers Lacaume depuis Alban. Après Carmenel, prenez une route à gauche en direction du Tuel. Le décollage se trouve à gauche de la route, identifiable par une manche à air sur un arbre, à 2 km avant le Truel. Vous trouverez un bar et une épicerie dans le village. Appelez le numéro vert 0800245466 pour vérifier son activation, il n'est pas activé le week-end et les jours fériés. En cas de vent soutenu, évitez de vous poser en vallée en raison de fortes turbulences ; préférez un atterrissage au sommet, qui est facile. Respectez les cultures et les animaux. N'hésitez pas à discuter avec les habitants locaux, qui sont très gentils.
